In this post, we would like to review an interesting house that becomes the latest project of Garret Cord Werner. This project is a serene forest house set in Vancouver, Canada. This house was built to make the most of the beautiful forest natural surroundings. The designer made the house blend effectively with the nature. Even with tight budget, this house still offers magnificent architecture and great interior design.
The house combines wood, glass, and concrete splendidly. In its living room, this private house displays nice open space with glass windows giving natural sensation from the surrounding woods. The exposed wood ceiling matches the maple wooden floor and makes warm natural impression.
The sandstone wall accent is also awesome with a modern wall mount fireplace and a TV unit. This spacious living room also offers nice seating idea using a comfy grey modern sofa and a plush gray armchair. Next to the sliding doors, there is a sleek dining area where you can eat while enjoying the outdoor view.
From the living room, you can step outside a little bit to sit back and relax in a soothing veranda. This veranda offers marvelous elevated concrete deck with large sandstone tile floor. This space is filled with two fancy brown wicker chairs and a wicker table. From this space, you can see the complete view of your garden and the forest beyond it.
Meanwhile, the master bedroom of this forest house seems to employ neutral theme. The sandy fawn wall matched the beige floor nicely. This simple bedroom uses a queen metal bed with two dark brown vanities placed well beside it. Two industrial desk lamps from metal are added on the top of both bedside vanities. Across the bed, this space also showcase natural image with the sandstone wall and a traditional fireplace.
